Market 309 is a subsidized market that offers fresh produce at convenient locations and at a cost cheaper than any grocery store. The market provides healthy food to individuals and families in Peoria's 61603, 61604, and 61605 zip codes as well as anyone with a Link/EBT card, senior citizens, veterans, and individuals with disabilities.
The market is open to Peoria residents on Sunday from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm in the Trewyn Park Pavilion and to Bradley University students on Fridays from 3:00 to 5:00 pm on the Bradley University Campus.

As a non-profit organization whose goal is to not only make affordable and fresh produce available, but to enable healthy habits for everyone, we rely so heavily on good-hearted volunteers. Here are the Peoria Zetas, a local sorority that has taken such an initiative to help support Peoria Grown’s Market 309 with volunteers on a weekly basis and so much more.
Blue & White Gala
It was a great privilege for Peoria Grown to be honored at the 2023 Peoria Blue & White Family Inaugural Fall Gala, an event by Peoria Zetas and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. "Epsilon Rho Sigma Chapter, where in addition to being an honored guest, was also the beneficiary of the proceeds from the evening, resulting in a donation of $5,000 from the Blue & White Family.

We're so proud of Olivia, our Market 309 Manager at Bradley University, for being featured by Bradley Family and Consumer Sciences!
As a student leader, Olivia has successfully run our Market 309 site on campus, ensuring students have access to affordable, fresh, healthy food options. Through this experience, she's gained hands-on insight into addressing food insecurity and applying her studies in nutrition, wellness, and community engagement in a meaningful way.
At Peoria Grown, part of our mission is to provide hands-on experience for dietetic and nursing students or anyone passionate about food and nutrition security. We want students to engage in real-world learning and understand how we address immediate food needs while working on long-term solutions to create sustainable change.
