what is market 309?

Market 309 offers fresh produce at a convenient location and at a cost cheaper than grocery stores. The market provides individuals and families access to healthy food during business hours. No need to sign up, no minimums or maximums – just show up to shop! This initiative is part of the Peoria Grown mission to provide accessible, affordable fresh fruits and vegetables. Market 309 has two locations: 

- Logan Recreation Center (1414 S. Livingston St., Peoria) - Open Sundays from 11:30am-2pm to individuals and families is Peoria's 61604 and 61605 zip codes, as well as anyone with a Link/EBT card, senior citizens, veterans, and individuals with disabilities. 

- North Valley Commons (1203 NE Perry Ave, Peoria) - Open Tuesdays from 4-6pm individuals and families is Peoria's 61603 zip code, as well as anyone with a Link/EBT card, senior citizens, veterans, and individuals with disabilities. 

How it works

  1. Make your way to the one of the markets listed above.

  2. Check out the produce that is available from Hy-Vee Sheridan, local farmers, and community gardeners.

  3. Make your purchases! We accept cash and EBT/Link cards. 

  4. Enjoy your fresh produce and come get more when you are out.
